The Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that Cyprus received 4th batch of medical supplies from China, which includes 7 tonnes of medical equipment and consumables. That will contribute even more to the efforts made by Cyprus to tackle SARS-CoV-2 virus arrived in Cyprus last night.
The batch also contains a donation of 140 screens of patients monitoring to be used by the Intensive Care Unit.
The new batch also includes surgical masks, swaps for sample collection and full-body protective uniforms. All those items are going to be immediately transported to be used by health professionals.
Sincere appreciation is expressed to Aegean Airlines and HELPE Group that sponsored the 4th flight that had been organized for the transport of the consumables to Cyprus.
The help they offer to the efforts made by the Republic of Cyprus in dealing with coronavirus pandemic is highly precious.
