24 booked in Larnaca for illegal gathering at home

Larnaca police imposed fines on 24 people, who were found in the house of their friend and violation of Lockdown.

According to the police, shortly after midnight, the tip was received that foreigners were gathering illegally in an apartment in the centre of Larnaca, in violation of the Government decrees based on the Law on COVID-19.

Police officers went to the apartment, they found that 24 people were inside the house and when police ask explanation they did not give satisfactory explanations for their presence at the scene.

Everyone was fined 300 euros and then left the apartment.
