The Epidemiological Surveillance Unit of the Ministry of Health publishes the latest data of COVID-19 cases in Cyprus, until April 23.
The area with the most cases of COVID-19 remains Aradippou, Paphos is on 2nd Place, however. Larnaca is in third place, Nicosia is in fourth place, Famagusta is in fifth place, while Limassol is in the last place, with the fewest cases.
The graph below shows the cases were announced by the ministry of health, both in the government and in the scientific team, Cyprus is on a very good path. The declining course of the curve and the small numbers of new confirmed cases recorded daily are clear.
As far as the deaths caused by the virus, they amount to 14, but, as Dr George Nikolopoulos had pointed out, they are sporadically distributed in small numbers.
The charts, which presents patients to the Intensive Care Units per day, also sends particularly encouraging messages. Here, too, there is a gradual increase in intubation, with the passage of days as well as a decrease in COVID-19 patients treated in ICUs.
