Paphos police arrested 39 years old man in the early hours of morning when Burglary tools were found from his car.

According to the Police, officers (Omorfita Police Station) located at around 4.40 in the early hours of today in an area of ​​Aglantzia, a parked suspicious vehicle, which had activated its engine.

Examinations that followed revealed that the driver of the vehicle was a 39-year-old resident of Paphos, who did not give satisfactory explanations for his presence in the specific area.

A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up various burglary tools, such as a liber, a file, a scalpel, etc., as well as various silverware, such as forks, glasses, etc.

Two opening knives, a vehicle key, a key ring, a notebook and a box of gloves were found in a shoulder bag. A physical search of the 39-year-old found two watches and a file.

The 39-year-old was arrested for misdemeanor offenses and was remanded in custody.
