An autopsy was performed on Wednesday 29 April on the body of the man found on Tuesday 28 April in a rocky area in the coastal area “Ammoudi” in Akamas Paphos, by medical examiners Nikola Charalambous and Sophocles Sophocleous.
According to the Police, during the forensic examination, samples were taken from the body and sent for pathological examinations, while the evidence does not indicate any criminal activity.
The identification of genetic material for the body is expected. According to the Police, the body in the current condition could not be identified and the identification will be done with the DNA method.
The body of the young man was found by volunteer divers in the “Ammoudi” area on a rocky spot in Akamas.
Police have cordoned off the scene where medical examiner Nikolas Charalambous was summoned for an autopsy.
Relatives of the missing person were also called to the scene for identification.
