7 new cases of COVID-19 and total 850

7 new cases of coronavirus

Ministry of Health on Thursday announced 7 new cases of Coronavirus after 2454 laboratory tests which bring the total number of positive cases to 850 (including the ten found in the British Base).

From the program of the Ministry of Health for the examination of 20,000 professionals, 306 laboratory diagnoses have been completed without positive results.

Covid testing locations for Friday

Out of a total of 195 laboratory tests from the tracking process , 4 cases were found.

Out of a total of 237 diagnoses from the microbiological laboratories of the General Hospitals, no cases were found.

Out of 470 examinations in repatriates, 1 case was identified

Out of a total of 780 laboratory tests from a private initiative, 1 case was identified .

From the 96 examinations in State health Organization 1 positive case.

Out of a total of 508 diagnoses from the control of 2000 employees in the retail trade, beverages and foodstuffs and nursing homes, no positive results emerged and out of a total of 285 diagnoses, no cases were identified.

The condition of the patients 

In relation to the condition of the patients, Dr. Marios Loizou stated that 14 patients are being treated at the Famagusta Hospital. Four patients are being treated at the ICU, one at the Limassol ICU and three at the Nicosia ICU. Their condition is critical but stable.

The other hospitals are treating five cases.
