One hundred labour inspector trained by the Ministry of Labour and police to monitor compliance with health and safety rules which apply to business, shops, and construction sites that will re-start work from tomorrow, Ministry of Labour said.
The Labour ministry issued health and safety instructions for businesses that will reopen. 100 people have been trained by the director of the labour inspection unit and will be out on duty as of tomorrow.
“About 100 public assistants have been trained and their exclusive duty now is to carry out these inspections and see that the measures are being adhered to,” she said adding that police and other agencies will also be involved.
“We will carry out inspections daily basis and we all must comply with the safety, health, and hygiene measures. It is very necessary so that we can overcome this situation,” she said.
