A total of ten patients with coronavirus are currently being treated at the Famagusta General Hospital, which operates as a Rehabilitation Hospital.
Of the ten patients, two are being treated in the Intensive Care Unit, as they need closer monitoring.
One of the two patients of the Unit was hospitalized in the gynecology department, however, their health condition worse. His transfer to the Intensive Care Unit was considered necessary for precautionary reasons.
Yesterday, a patient returned who initially being treated at the Rehabilitation Hospital, was admitted to the ICU of the Famagusta Hospital after he showed complications to his health.
According to the doctors, he showed improvement and returned to the Famagusta hospital for treatment.
It is noted that the second floor has been thoroughly disinfected, as it is expected to reopen next week for the treatment of patients in the province of Famagusta.
