An armed robbery by a man wearing a medical mask took place this morning at a Hellenic bank branch in Kiti Larnaca District on Wednesday morning.
According to police, at around 10.40am a person, wearing a medical mask entered the bank branch snatched money from the cash register before fleeing on foot.

They said witnesses described the man has holding an object in his hand. It was not yet determined whether it was a gun or some other weapon.
The scene has been cordoned off and members of the Police, who rushed to the scene, have begun investigations.
